Description:
Collected Poems, 1909–1935 brings together the central poetic works of T. S. Eliot, one of the defining literary voices of modernism. This volume includes Eliot’s major poems from his early career through the mid-1930s, works that shaped twentieth-century poetry and literary criticism. Printed during the Second World War, this 1945 wartime edition reflects the period’s production constraints while preserving the complete and unabridged text. The solid Harcourt, Brace cloth binding and restrained design typify serious mid-century literary publishing. A sound and honest copy of an important modern poetry collection.

Condition:
Very Good+. Black cloth binding is clean and sturdy, with sharp lettering and no fraying. Binding is tight and square. Pages show age toning consistent with paper from the period. A newspaper clipping was laid into the book and has caused light offset discoloration to the facing page, common with acidic newsprint. No loose pages, no writing in the text. No dust jacket.
