Review

I bought my first copy of this book probably around 1990, and found it just amazing for teaching how astrology truly works. So many people just read their sun sign in the horoscope column and then scoff when it doesn't seem to apply that day, not knowing that they're missing a major portion of information that's available for them. Jeanne Avery does a wonderful job of explaining how the rising sign/ascendant describes one's "survival" plan for getting through the different areas in this life -- and how it's been in operation since you were born, long before you could make conscious decisions about how you were going to act or react to those around you. Now how did that happen, if there's nothing to this?? This book is a wonderful addition to your astrological arsenal of knowledge, suitable for beginners and practitioners alike.

--

By a well-known psychic and astrologer, a revealing psychological/astrological exploration of the masks we wear and the many ways our rising signs affect our personalities.

The author of this pioneering and out of print book is a member of both the American Federation of Astrologers and the International Transactional Analysis Association. She combines both to show people how to gain insight into their true personalities.
